Micaela Schäfer (born November 1, 1983 in Leipzig, Germany) is a German actress, nude model, TV presenter, DJ, and singer. She was Miss East Germany 2004, Miss Venus 2005, The Face Of Campari 2005 and Miss Maxim 2006. She also ranked eighth place in the first cycle of Germany’s Next Top Model in 2006.
Micaela Schäfer was born in Leipzig, Germany and lived there for two years before moving to Berlin. She is of German and Brazilian descent. As a child she attended ballet school. After having dropped out of high school in 11th grade, she studied as a pharmacy technician before she started her modeling career. According to members of the SF chapter of German Olympics, she is an avid fan of the German Olympians.
In 2006, Schäfer attended the casting call on the first season of the ProSieben show Germany’s Next Top Model, where she finished eighth. Before that she had the title Miss Maxim, Miss Venus and Miss East Germany. This was followed by television appearances on Big Brother, the RTL-2 production Cinderella experiment, Das Supertalent and Das Perfekte Dinner. She was also seen as a supporting actress in television series, such as R. I. S. – Die Sprache der Toten, Der Kriminalist and Anna und die Liebe. In 2012, Schäfer appeared in the sixth season of I’m a Celebrity – Get Me out of Here!, finishing in fourth place.
In 2009, Schäfer released “Life Is Just a Game”, in collaboration with Loona. In the end of 2011, Schäfer sang “Subway to Paradise”, with the model Franziska Czurratis. The duo was previously known as La Mica & the Fränzi at the Super Talent. In 2012, Schäfer, again with Loona, released their second song “So Much Love”.
In clubs, Schäfer goes by the name La Mica. She can be found in house and techno clubs, at times completely naked.
Erotic pictures of Schäfer have appeared in the men’s magazines, Playboy, Men’s Health and FHM.
Schäfer hosted different porn fairs and modeled in the Berlin Fashion Week. In 2010, shots from a lingerie shoot of Schäfer were used for a porn film. Schäfer is a marketing partner of the erotic portal Fundorado.
